LED and OLED TVsI have this old 2015 TV sitting in my storage when I realized that I have not updated it at all. When I put it on a usb, with just the file to upgrade on the root of the USB, still did not update. It said that there was no file to upgrade. I looked on the version on the TV and the website, with the firmware on the TV 1010.2, and the one on the website 1023.0, I knew that it wasn't working. Does anyone have a solution?

LED and OLED TVsThe TV only supports MBR as FAT32, which read the drive and installed the firmware. Thanks for the help, realaud!

LED and OLED TVsIt might not be eligible to update even if it never updated before. The curse of many smart TVs is that they usually only have 5 years of OS updates. After that period, likely access to the update servers would be restricted. Have you tried updating via the internet connection in the TVs settings? It may not take or recognize the file on the USB because it has not had interim updates since it came from the factory.

LED and OLED TVsThe TV that I specified does not have internet updates. It's a 2015 1080p LED tv. Do you know if the update version I specified is the factory version? All I know is that I used multiple USBS, tried sizing them differently, using FAT32, and other solutions. None of those worked, that's why I resorted to here.

LED and OLED TVsSo, it's not a smart TV? You were looking to update the firmware? Is there a reason you need to update the firmware? Does the TV work? It is quite possible that the TV is not "seeing" the file because it does not need a firmware update
I actually do no know what the factory version of the firmware is supposed to be, as I am not familiar with the TV. Is there a manual? If you had it sitting in storage and never updated it at all, then my guess would be it's on the version that came from the factory.
