I've had my nearly $5,000usd 77" s95c for 2.5 years. While I was watching it a week ago it just died before my eyes. No stand by power, nothing.
Best buy scammed me on a warranty and won't help.
I bought the only remaining One Connect box on eBay for $500, no joy.
I bought a parts kit to replace every board in the back of the TV and still nothing.
I'm beyond livid that $5,000 only gets you 2 to 3 years out of a flagship TV and no one is willing to help.
I've had issues with every single Samsung product in my house except for my 10 year old 65" tv and my phone. Samsung has clearly gone down hill and unless they step up and fix this for me I'm done and won't ever recommend any Samsung products from now on. I wish I had gone with LG for my new flagship 2 years ago.

LED and OLED TVsI understand planned obsolescence and every electronic product has a lifespan, but an expensive appliance that only lasts for 2.5 years, may as well be disposable. Who has $$$ to buy a new TV every two years?
As for BB scamming on the warranty, I'm sure they were trying to say that BB sold them an extended warranty and they won't help now, which is not their job to do, they are not the warranty company.

LED and OLED TVsIf you bought an extended warranty from Best Buy, Best buy is not the warranty provider, they are only the seller. You have to actually read the warranty to see what's covered, for how long, and who to contact. Just because you bought the warranty from BB does not mean they are the ones responsible for service. Sad to say, though, that by attempting to fix it on your own, you likely voided the extended warranty terms as well.
