Controlling DirecTv box causes my Q55S95 TV/B650 Sound Bar to unmute

I recently bought a Q55S95DAFXZA TV and HW-B650 Sound bar which I have coupled with my DirecTv Genie receiver.  Now if I mute the sound on the sound bar and then change something on the Genie receiver the audio unmutes.  When I say change something it can be channel up/down, Guide, DVR, or other Genie settings.  

This TV/Sound bar combo replaced a QN50QN90AAFXZA TV and Klipsch Sound bar that did not display this behavior.

I've looked into every setting I can and cannot get back to the behavior I had.

In the TV settings, go to Connection, then External Device Manager. Turn on any Net+ HDMI CEC and Input Signal Plus. Make sure your soundbar is connected using the HDMI eARC port (typically port 3 or 4, depending on your model; it will be indicated on the back of your TV). Now, on your DirecTV box, also turn on HDMI CEC so the sound can communicate and control properly. If you have any surround sound formats turned on in your DirecTV box's audio settings, try turning them off. Let the TV process and output the sound.

Unfortunately that did not work.  I can confirm that AnyNet+ is turned on, Input Signal Plus is enabled, and I'm using HDMI 3 (eARC) on the TV.  I can also confirm that the DirectTv HDMI CEC is enabled on the receiver.

Hi JBTechfanatic,

I have made an adjustment to the configuration and it has solved the issue.  I moved the DirecTv HDMI out connector to HDMI 2 on the TV.  Previously it had been connected to Sound bar.  

So currently the Sound bar is connected to HDMI 3 (eArc), the DirecTv receiver is connected to HDMI 2, and the 4k DVD player is connected to HDMI 1.

Everything functions as I would expect it to.  Thanks for all your help and I hope when someone else does something like this you can use this fix.
