LED and OLED TVsI have a DU8000. I also have a Roku Ultra 2024.
It's easy to change the resolution on the Ultra from 4K to 1080P & back to 4K. It's on 1080P right now.
I looked around the DU8000 settings. In the "Picture" setting I see "16:9", "4:3" & "Custom". I chose "Custom" & the GIF or whatever changed aspect ratios. I assume that 1 of those is 1080P but none were labeled.
If it is possible to change the resolution on the DU8000 from 4K to 1080P, how do I do it?

LED and OLED TVsHello! Thank you for reaching out! You can not change the resolution directly on the TV. However, you can use another device, such as a PC, to do so. Changing the aspect ratio will not change the resolution; it will change the zoom ratio. You can enlarge the text using Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Magnification.

LED and OLED TVsAspect ratio really has nothing to do with resolution. You can adjust the aspect ratio at any resolution. I am not familiar with that particular TV, but most TV's where you can switch resolution have a place in the settings where you can do that. Either go through all the display settings or locate the manual and check if it's one of the features. Why would you want to downgrade your resolution? As I understand it, UHD TVs will adjust the resolution in relation to what is being broadcast. But, why buy a UHD TV if you are going to stunt its potential?

LED and OLED TVsI'm 77 years old & my eyes ain't what they used to be. At 4K, the text is small.
I'm experimenting.
I think that the manual is on the TV. I'll check it out.

LED and OLED TVsI don't know if I'm reading the correct manual for your TV, but it looks like you can switch resolutions. There are also accessibility settings that include magnification. Apparently, you can use Bixby, as well.
In case it's easier to read on the phone or computer: BN81-25561E-700_EUG_ROPDVBADD_ASIA_ENG_241127.0.pdf
