LED and OLED TVsI like Samsung products and have had several of their TVs, phones, and tablets. I currently have a S24 Ultra and one of the upper end QLED TVs, albeit is going on 5 years old now (2021 model).
This is my 3rd TV and phone (and tablet) that I have owned. On every phone and TV combo the casting never works well. I can start to cast but it will stutter, freeze then pay in fast forward to catch up, the audio will desync, and it will usually finally fully freeze and it will usually require me to unplug the TV and plug it back in to get the internet to work again.
This has continued to be an issue with every TV. I have a bit better connection with my tablet but it is still unwatchable. Now, I can cast to my cheap $300 roku TV with no issues. I have casted with no issues to several cheap TVs.
So my question is why can I never cast to any of my Samsung TVs smoothly? This has been on various networking devices (currently using eero but have had numerous other routers) and setups throughout several houses/apartments.
Is there any settings or things I can try to make casting work? I have to use direct connections to play anything from my devices on my TV.
Do other people experience casting issues on their Samsung TVs too? Are they just not good for casting? Am I just very unlucky and have bought multiple TVs that all have network issues for casting only? I can't make sense of this and it's annoying that I can't cast to a TV I paid $3,000 for. I have been thinking about buying a new TV and getting an oled and I'm hesitant to buy another Samsung now but I use smartthings and like to have all Samsung products.
Any ideas on what I might try? Did Samsung TVs get better with casting issues that they used to have? These are the types of things I'm trying to find out with this post.
Thank you for any help and suggestions.

LED and OLED TVsIf you can't watch it directly on an app on the smart TV for anyone that understands things like engineering you're basically piggybacking your connection which means with each thing it has to connect to it's going to lose strength lose signal lose packets lose data it also then has to make sure that it evenly catches up with the refresh rate of the TV if the device and the TV do not have the same refresh rate and are not on the same format say like 1080p then you're going to have to deal with conversion in the process as the video needs to be converted from what it is to what your TV is able to handle the whole point of streaming was really only as a Bare Bones basic for people that didn't have a smart TV and it was really invented just so that the pictures in the videos that you have on your phone can be displayed on a larger device when you're showing them to people in your home which nobody ever really did but trust me it's just the power of your Wi-Fi mixed with anything else in your home along with your phone and the fact that you're just trying to stream it in the first place

LED and OLED TVsPay attention to your wi-fi signal. If you do not have a strong and stable connection, your casting will not work. You seem to think it's only a problem between Samsung devices and their TVs. Have you ever had another TV you tried to cast to on your own wi-fi network? Some networks can be unstable even if they are showing a strong signal. If you have a 2 band router, you should separate the networks (2.4 gHz and 5 gHz) instead of keeping them bridged, and then put both your TV and the phone on the 2.4 gHz band, as it's more stable, longer range, and less prone to interference - this is why the band is recommended for most smart appliances.
