Samsung Crystal LED TV  UN55TU8000FXZA

This is weird.  For about two months now our TV will perform 10-15 seconds of buffering at 2 minutes before the hour or 2 mintues before the half hour depending on the program we are watching.  This occurrs when using the xfinity app.  It does not happen with other apps that have the same live tv channel.  Have my own modem/router but it is older but still on the xfinity approved list.  TV is hooked to an ethernt port with Cat 8 Cable.  No updates available from samsung.

@Kenneth3 Sounds like an issue with the xfinity app since that is the only place that you experience it.

@Kenneth3 So that TV is non-Samsung? Does it have the same version of the xfinity app? Still remains that the xfinity app for the Samsung probably has an issue.

OMG!  The other TV (Not Samsung) has version 6.14 and the 2018 samsung has 2.2.0.  The samsung tv is saying this is the latest version. It takes a long time to load etc.  How do a make samsung download a better xfinity version if it says I have the latest?  You are really close on keeping from buying a new modem/router

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! @LongHiker is correct in that this is an app issue. As for updating it you can try to uninstall and reinstall to update it. Other than that you will need to reach out to Xfinity directly as they may have different versions for different company/models.
