Is there a way to extend the display duration for art pieces on the Samsung Frame 43"?  Apparently, you can extend the time for personal images you download, but I can't find a place to change it in the art display area. I have created a list of favorite art pieces to display and would like to display each image past the 3 minute default. I just purchased the unit in March of 2024. I can go to the individual pieces of art and change brightness, color ect., but no display duration setting. Is there a secret service access menu where you can change it?

Thank you.

How to Adjust the Art Rotation Time on a 2024 43" Frame TV

I figured out how to change the art rotation time on my 2024 43" Frame TV. I believe you need an Art Store subscription to access this feature, but I'm not certain. I do have a subscription, so here’s how I did it:

  1. Enter Art Mode:

    • From the TV-watching mode, press the red power button on the top right of the remote to enter Art Mode.
  2. Access the Slide Show:

    • You should see the current art displayed. Press the center button on the remote (inside the ring below the mic button). This will show the current image with a preview of other art pieces in the slide show.
  3. Open Display Options:

    • Look for an up arrow above the image. Press up on the remote’s ring selector.
    • You may see one of two sets of options:
      • View Details, Display Options (triangle icon), and Screen Settings (gear icon)
      • View Details, Mat (image icon), and Screen Settings (gear icon)
    • If you see Display Options, select it by scrolling right and pressing the center button.
  4. Adjust Rotation Time:

    • Scroll down to Rotation and choose your preferred interval: 3 min, 15 min, 1 hour, 12 hours, 1 day, or 7 days.

Troubleshooting:

  • If Display Options doesn’t appear, return to the Art Mode home screen and select Display All to start the slide show. Then, repeat the steps.

Good luck! Despite the clunky interface, the Frame TV is still a pretty cool product.

Hello, TChambers. Welcome to the Community! We know how frustrating it can be to set up the duration at which your art is displayed on your Samsung Frame TV. Here are some steps to help adjust those setting for you.

Navigate to the Art Mode settings.
Look for options like "Slideshow Settings" or "Change Time".
Select the desired duration for each artwork to display before changing.
Available options include 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, and 4 hours.
You can also choose "Off" to keep Art Mode always on.

Lets us know if this helps!

Thank you for your prompt response. It seems I might be on a different version of the Samsung OS, as I don't see the option you mentioned. To enter Art Mode, I press the red power button at the top left of the remote. From there, I press the return arrow below the directional pad and access the Samsung Art Store. As a member, I can browse art collections, select favorites, and view a horizontal options list on the left side of the screen. The options include my name, Search, Art, Daily+, Game, Home - Connected Devices, Settings, and Privacy Choices.

At the bottom of the art selection screen, I see a section labeled Art Mode Options with choices like Sleep Options, Off Art Effects, Reset My Album, and What is Art? However, I don't see any references to Art Mode Settings, Slideshow Settings, or Change Time.

When I select an art collection and press the up button on the remote, I get options for View Details, Favorite, Mat, and Screen Settings, but none include time settings. My TV is a Model QN43LS03DDFXZA running Version 1301, with no available updates.

Based on comments from others, it seems they’ve experienced similar issues without resolution. Do you have any additional recommendations? Thank you!

Here's another troubleshooting step you can try.

When you get into your slideshow, press the Enter key to bring up a popup for details/settings. Then toggle to the Slideshow Options icon (3rd one from the left) , scroll down to Duration Time. There you can change from 3min, 5min, 10min, etc.

Hello, again, the slide show and or slide show options menu doesn’t exist. Do I have an old model. If I can’t can’t get this working, I’m returning the three units I purchased from Costco.
