Smart Control not smart at all.

I have managed to successfully link my oven to my smart control and to Alexa. 

However the other day I actually tried to use my smart control , and its telling me smart control is disabled. 

So I turned it on back at home. Tried to use it the next day when I got a pizza from the store. 

Disabled. 

I go home.. I see that every single time i open the door smart control gets disabled. How in the world do I stop this from happening.

Safety features. Someone mentioned they done away with the smart control always on.
