My Samsung cool drawer does not close all the way.  I checked the back of the drawer and there is nothing there.  The drawer pulls out ok but does not go in all the way.  The doors hit on this drawer and have to push the doors to close the drawer

If your Samsung refrigerator's cool drawer is not closing properly and the refrigerator doors are hitting the drawer, it's possible that there's an issue with the alignment of the drawer or the tracks it sits on. Here are some steps you can take to address the problem:

  1. Empty the Drawer: Before attempting any adjustments, empty the cool drawer of its contents to ensure nothing inside is obstructing the closing mechanism.

  2. Check for Obstructions: Thoroughly inspect the inside of the drawer, the tracks, and the surrounding area to make sure there are no items or debris obstructing the drawer's movement.

  3. Inspect the Drawer's Rollers or Slides:

    • Gently pull the drawer out and examine the rollers or slides that allow the drawer to move in and out. Make sure they're not damaged or misaligned.
    • If there are any visible issues, such as bent or broken parts, it may require replacement.
  4. Adjust the Rollers or Slides:

    • Some refrigerators allow you to adjust the position of the rollers or slides to ensure proper alignment.
    • Consult your refrigerator's user manual for specific instructions on how to adjust the cool drawer's position.
  5. Check for Leveling:

    • If your refrigerator isn't level, it can affect the operation of the drawers and doors. Use a leveling tool to check if the refrigerator is sitting evenly on the floor.
    • Adjust the leveling feet or wheels as needed to achieve proper leveling.
  6. Contact Samsung Support:

    • If the above steps don't resolve the issue, consider reaching out to Samsung's customer support for guidance. They might be able to provide specific instructions based on your refrigerator model.
  7. Professional Repair:

    • If the problem persists and you're unable to troubleshoot and fix it yourself, it may be necessary to contact a professional technician for diagnosis and repair.

Remember to always follow the manufacturer's guidelines and recommendations when attempting any adjustments or repairs on your refrigerator. If your refrigerator is still under warranty, it's advisable to contact Samsung's customer support before attempting any major adjustments.

I have entered one request for help as it appears my cool drawer does not close enough because my one door with the folding edge keeps hitting it.  You have to push the door a little to get it to completely close.  Any ideas?  Is it the cool drawer or the main door.  Thank you

Sounds like a mechanical issue. Hopefully you are within your warrenty period and can get the frig repaired or replaced.

Before that though, remove the drawer and inspect the area in side the frig for damage or debris that might be causing the issue, and the drawer for defects.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:

  1. Check for Obstructions: Make sure there are no items in the cool drawer or on the shelf that could be obstructing the drawer's movement.

  2. Inspect the Cool Drawer: Carefully examine the cool drawer for any misalignments, damage, or irregularities that might be causing it to not close properly. Sometimes, the track or rollers that the drawer sits on can become misaligned or damaged.

  3. Inspect the Main Door: Check the main door with the folding edge for any issues as well. It's possible that the door's alignment has shifted or that there's a problem with the folding mechanism.

  4. Adjustment and Alignment: Some refrigerators have adjustable shelves, drawers, and doors. Check your refrigerator's user manual to see if there are instructions for adjusting the cool drawer or the main door. This might involve loosening screws or adjusting sliders to realign components.

  5. Test with Empty Cool Drawer: Empty the cool drawer and test if the main door closes properly without any obstructions from the drawer. If it closes smoothly without the drawer, then the issue might be related to the drawer's alignment or rollers.
