I have the same problem as originally posted by @kildon2002 :

I have a dw80r5060us dishwasher and I noticed a loose piece of rubber in the tub.  Upon further inspection I discovered that the lower seal on the inner door was crumbling and falling apart.  What is frustrating is to replace the seal I will have to drop over $200 on the entire inner door frame since the seal is part of that.  Is there anything Samsung can do?  I know it's out of warranty, but I thing a seal like this shouldn't just crumble.

However, I am unable to reply to that post for some reason and I do not accept the solution listed in the former post, which is to purchase a replacement part for $144.85 plus tax and shipping to fix something that is certainly defective.

The rubber seal at the bottom of my dishwasher door, which connects to the front side of the dishwasher tub, has completely crumbled and has caused my dishwasher to flash "LC" - Leak Check.

Water gushes out of the corners where it is also cracked, which then gets into the door panel and then pools in the bottom of the dishwasher's internal components.

I managed to dry the product and seal the faulty part with some silicone, and fingers crossed it does the trick for now.

I do think Samsung should pay for the replacement and installation of this faulty part.
