Kitchen and Family HubI was so excited to get my Samsung Bespoke Induction Cooktop NSI6DG9300SR/AA brand new from a local small retailer. It was delivered and I also purchased my induction-specific cookware. All was going well until recently when I was sauteeing my vegetables and heard a loud pop. When I looked down my entire cooktop was broken in half-not from misuse but a clear issue with the product! I immediately turned off my cooktop and contacted Samsung. Imagine my shock and disappointment to learn this is NOT covered by warranty and to be denied also because someone labeled it as “refurbished” even though it was delivered new in-box from my local retailer. Has this happened to anyone else? I saw a couple of small cracks in some other reviews, but nothing this severe. I’m lost and don’t know what to do next. I am so concerned that I not only don’t have a cooktop for my holidays, but also for the safety of the product for future functional use. And I’m super saddened that no one is taking accountability for a safety defect in the product.
