I've have tried numerous times to change the clock on the gas range. I hold the clock button and it will only allow one number to be entered. It will not allow me to enter the 3 to 4 digits for the time. It does not show the four dashes for entering the time. It only shows the number 1 flashing.

Kitchen and Family HubGeneral Steps:
* Locate the Clock Controls:
* On many Samsung ranges, there's a dedicated "Clock" button, or the clock settings are accessed through the "Menu" options.
* It is noted that on some models the clock button is located near the number 9 on the control panel.
* Access the Clock Setting:
* You might need to press the "Clock" button briefly, or navigate through the "Menu" using a dial knob or touch controls.
* Set the Time:
* Use the number pad, dial knob, or arrow buttons to enter the correct hour and minutes.
* Pay attention to whether you need to select AM or PM.
* Confirm the Time:
* Press the "Clock" button again, or follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the time.
* Time Format:
* Some models allow you to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats. This option is often found within the "Menu" settings.
Important Considerations:
* User Manual:
* The most accurate instructions will be in your range's user manual. If you don't have it, you can often find it online at the Samsung website.
* Button Sensitivity:
* Some users have noted that the timing of button presses is crucial. A quick press versus a long press can trigger different functions.
* Online Resources:
* Websites like Best Buy's Q&A and YouTube videos can provide helpful visual demonstrations of the clock-setting process.
Where to find help:
* Samsung Support:
* Samsung's support website and customer service can provide model-specific assistance.
I hope this helps!

Kitchen and Family HubA short press of the small icon near 9 (not clearly visible as a clock) produced 4 dashes on the display and I entered the time 0 7 2 4 (the current time of 7:24 appeared). It was PM not AM -- don't know how morning times will read. A 3-second press of that same Icon displayed a 1 -- able only to toggle between 1 and O (On and Of?? Not clear what this is). No AM / PM selection/option. Nothing in manuals on any of this.

The posted instructions for changing the clock setting in the Samsung electric ranges are of little help. The posted solutions all assume the user is not following the written instructions. If the user IS following the instructions verbatim, you are left hanging, with no help what so ever. If this is what has happened to you, you might try what I am about to try: I noticed that every time you unplug the electric range it resets the clock to 12:00. I will now, at exactly 12noon, unplug and then plug in my electric range. At that time, since it will be 12pm noon, the clock should be forced to be accurate. Wish me luck!

Kitchen and Family HubI have the same oven. Set my through the SmartThings app, Option under settings called "Sync Time" that allows you to sync it to the time on your phone.
