Home TheaterI’m experiencing the same issue. My 990D is unresponsive and only displays TV eARC since the auto-update to firmware 1020.7. I’ve tried all the reset methods in the instructions, but none of them worked.
This seems to be a firmware issue that Samsung’s developers need to address. Samsung should not pass any costs associated with resolving this issue onto customers such as requiring them to pay for shipping the soundbar to a service centre.

Home TheaterMy Samsung Q-990D soundbar is completely frozen in BT mode. I can't switch to any other modes, perform a factory reset, update the firmware, or adjust the volume or settings.
When I turn it off, the display shows "BYE," then freezes for about 30 seconds before shutting down. When powered on, it automatically switches to BT mode and takes a few minutes before it can be turned off again.
The device is also unresponsive in the SmartThings app—it freezes the app when I attempt a firmware update. When I try to factory reset, the "BT" text briefly flashes once before returning to BT mode. Pressing the volume up or down button displays an "8" on the screen.
Also, the Mic is completely off.
It's incredibly frustrating to have these issues on a soundbar that costs over $1,000. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Home TheaterI unplugged (with power on) post firmware update at the soundbar input, and had to do this twice over a 5 min period, powering the unit back on after restoring power to the unit. After a couple of hard reboots the sound came back and I was able to restore normal daily operation. I also was wondering why I had no sound and this is how I personally fixed it, your mileage may vary.
