Loud chirping noises from soundbar.

Hello and thank you for reading!

I recently bought a Samsung sound bar model  HW-Q67CB/ZA to pair up with my TV Samsung model QN75Q90TAFXZA.

When first connected, a loud "chirping" sound, something like a "sound artifact" (If such thing exists!), played in all speakers. So I changed the audio format output to PCM and everything worked perfect! Even Q-Symphony works! BUT If I change the audio output to "Auto" The "artifacts" return.

Pass-through option is  grayed out, I'm using the hdmi cable that came with the soundbar, all updates checked, I plugged a receiver to the sound bar hdmi in port "just in case", Quick test using optical instead, same result.

I tried streaming down content with Dolby Atmos, from Netflix... nada!

Any suggestion?

Hi there @MSilver and welcome to the community!  You've already performed a lot of the troubleshooting that I would have advised, so the last thing that I would suggest giving a try would be to try updating the firmware.  Here are links with both the current firmware as well as the steps to update the home theater via USB.

Please let us know if this resolves the issue with the chirping sounds.  If it doesn't, let us know that too so that we can look into possible service options with you.

Thank you for your answer.

I did try on the soundbar and only display "LATEST VERSION".

And TV also have the latest version.

Forgot to mention! TV thru BT works fine.
