Found my granddaughter playing with my watch.  Since then, I get no visual notifications on my watch (e.g., email, SMS).  I get the audible notifications from my phone, but nothing from my watch.  Help please.  Al settings I can find on my phone look right.  Phone (S24) and watch are paired.

Go into your wearable settings on your phone, click on watch settings and then click on notifications. Make sure "always show on both" is checked.

Oxford is correct.  She may have inadvertently changed the notification setting.  I gather you do not have a pin on the watch, otherwise when it is off your wrist, it would be impossible to get into the settings or access anything beyond the watch face without entering the PIN.  You might want to think about setting one.

"always show on both" is checked.

I can find no settings on the watch that may affect my problem.  All wearable settings look OK, but I'm no expert.

Okay, try this. See the screenshot for the three different ways to clear the cache in your wearable app and in your watch.1768074765366.jpg

How do you expect anyone to read the text on that overly long screen shot?  It's best to break it into sections, since the longer the shot, the more compressed the text gets.  Better yet, just copy and paste the text.

Still unreadable.  And I refuse to even try.  I cannot read it on a computer monitor, I can only imagine the horror of trying it on a phone screen.  It is most inconsiderate on *any* forum to post an extremely long screen scroll.

You can clear the cache on your Galaxy Watch 6 by using the watch's Device Care settings for general memory/cache cleaning or by wiping the cache partition via the Recovery Mode for a deeper clean, which helps fix lag; you can also clear cache for individual apps in settings.
Method 1: Clean Memory (Clears RAM/Background Apps)
This is a quick way to free up memory by closing unnecessary background apps and junk files.
From the watch face, swipe up to access your apps, then tap Settings (the gear icon).
Scroll down and tap on Battery and device care (or just Device care).
Tap on Memory, then tap Clean now to free up RAM.
Method 2: Wipe Cache Partition (Deeper Clean)
This removes temporary system files and is great for sluggish performance after updates.
This video demonstrates how to perform a cache partition wipe on your device:

Press and hold both side buttons until the watch turns off.
As soon as the screen goes black, start pressing the top button repeatedly until the Recovery Mode menu appears.
Use the top button to scroll and select Recovery mode, then press the top button to enter.
Use the bottom button (back button) to scroll to Wipe cache partition, then press the top button to select.
Scroll down to Yes and press the top button to confirm.
Once done, Reboot system now will be highlighted; press the top button to restart your watch.
Method 3: Clear Individual App Cache
To clear cache for a specific app, like a fitness tracker or a downloaded app:
Go to Settings on your watch, then tap Apps (or App list).
Select the app you want to clear.
Scroll down and tap Clear cache (you won't see a "Clear data" option for most watch apps).

If your granddaughter accidentally messed up some settings, I find it doubtful that clearing the watch cache will do anything to correct that - but it won't hurt anything to try.  Have you tried just a simple reboot of the watch, given that you say all your notification options are set correctly.  When you say you checked all your settings, did you go into notifications/apps and make sure all the apps for which you want notifications on the watch are toggled on?  Also, look  in notifications/advanced settings and make sure that the toggles are on for "new notification on watch face" and "Turn on Screen when notifications received".
