Galaxy WatchI have a Galaxy 7 watch and am using Samsung Health to track workouts. When I start the app it works normally. The screen turns off but it continues giving audio updates and when I check the watch the app is there and running.
After a couple of minutes, though, the app goes into the background. It stops giving audio updates and when I check the watch, it is back to the normal watchface. If I open the Health app again it says a workout is in progress and I can select that option and it returns to the workout that is ongoing.
How do I keep the Health app from going into the background?
Thank you.

Galaxy WatchNormally when a workout is active, the workout screen stays on. If it switches to the background, there is usually a graphic at 6 o'clock of the in progress workout. However, you can try the keep screen on for all workouts settings and see how that goes for you. Select any workout on the watch, go to the workout settings and scroll down to "screen always on"

Galaxy WatchThe little icon isn't appearing at the bottom of the watchface as in your example. However, I found the setting for "screen always on". Thank you so much for your time.

Galaxy WatchAnother option you may want to try is go to Wear app>watch settings>display>screen time out You can set it for up to 1 minute.
Also, for the workout on the watch, click the gear icon and make sure the setting "screen always on" is set and also make sure the exercise power saving is off.

Galaxy WatchIf you are doing interval workouts, you can design a workout routine in the health app and add your workout and rest intervals, so it should all be part of one workout routine. Open the health app, go to the workout tile, tap the "more" circle on the far right. When you get to the "my exercises" page, tap the + on the top right. You will be on the add exercises screen. Choose "create workout routine" and then select your exercises, intervals, rest periods and targets. You shouldn't need your timer. If your watch screen does not stay on when you select the workout, follow the images earlier in this post to keep your watch screen on.

Galaxy WatchHey folks! I have encountered an annoyance with the phone.
When walking/cycling and using the map app, the watch will also usually at some point start the fitness tracking app.
When it does so, it goes "on top" of the map app and isn't the priority app anymore. Is there a way to have e the map have an "always priority" mode while being used for navigation, even if another app opens? I couldn't find a setting like this.
Thanks!
