Texts on my watch and phone

How do I get my text messages from my Samsung Galaxy watch 8 to show in my phone text feed a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra? I use the Samsung texting app.

@CoCo0682 Is the GW 8 paired with your S24 Ultra? If so, the texts should be coming from the S24 Ultra to the GW 8. So there would be no reason to copy text messages from the GW 8 to the S24 Ultra.

I get the messages on my watch but when I reply on my watch I want to see the reply from my watch in my phone text feed later.

I'm not sure I fully understand what you need help with. Some clarification would be helpful. Are you saying you always want to recieve notifications on both the watch and the phone?

If so, go to watch settings and make sure you have Smart Device Selection toggled OFF. Smart Device Selection prevents your watch from being notified when your phone is awake, which can make the notifications feel inconsistent.

If you are not receiving notifications, go into the App Notifications setting and make sure notifications are toggled ON.

@CoCo0682 I would recommend changing to Google Messages on your phone. That will probably resolve the issue.

I will try that. I believe I currently use Sansung messages.

If you switch, you will find Google Messages to be superior in a number of ways. RCS, tapbacks, and actually manages text threads with iPhone users properly. Make sure you turn on "Text on Galaxy Devices" in the "Advanced Settings" of Google Messages.

Is your watch Bluetooth or LTE?

-If your watch is LTE, do you have your watch and phone paired via a number sharing/sync program?

Did this just start on your watch or have you always experienced this symptoms?
