Galaxy WatchHi, i've updated my Samsung Watch 5 to One UI 6. But since then it moves the Samsung running app to the background once I start my excersise. So when I'm running I can't see my pace/duration etc... I need to go to the running app and open it again to see it. But then it moves again to the background.
Any idea?

Galaxy WatchAren't you concentrating on running and not looking at your watch? Doesn't the watch still give you audio cues? I understand this might be a glitch (I don't have the update yet) but to me, it's not an absolute big deal, as I get the audio guide and I don't look at my stats til I'm done anyway. Usually when an app moves into the background on the watch, a little animation appears down on the bottom of the screen that there is an exercise going on. You can tap that and look at your stats.

Galaxy WatchI do get the audio cues while running but I'm interested in my overall average pace which isn't in the audio cue. For that I only needed a quick look on my watch. But since the update this isn't working anymore. It is also not showing that little icon like your picture is showing.

Galaxy WatchOdd, I don't run, but I walk, and my audio cues always gives me my average pace. I think you can change the settings in the exercise. On the watch exercise tile, choose "more", then center the running exercise. Under the bubble it will say "settings" The first item is the workout screen. Whatever you have on workout screen one should be repeated by the audio guide. But, as I said, you don't have to reopen the app to see your stats, you can either add the exercise tile to the watch and scroll to it, or tap the animation (as shown) on the bottom of the watch face to return to the data screen. Easiest to tap the animation, especially if you are in motion.
I don't know why the workout screen goes into background mode. Have you tried clearing the cache partition since this started happening? Could be some leftovers from the update causing interference.
