Resolved : Galaxy watch 4 not recording route map while walking

I have been using the galaxy watch 4 for past few days and realised that unlike my previous watch active 2, I do not see the route map for my walk activity in the samsung health app. I have given the location permission and activated location for walk activity. Is anyone else facing similar problems.

@Nike007 I'm not seeing that issue. I see the map from my walks with the GW4 in the Samsung Health app. 

Which phone are you using?

Am using the Samsung S21. I had the samsung watch active 2 and always got the route map on the same phone on the samsung health app. Cant c the map whwn using watch 4.

@Nike007 Just to be sure, IME this doesn't work with auto detected workouts. The mapping should work with manually started workouts.

Yes you are correct. I just figured out today. It will map route only when you explicitly activate a walk activity. Good to know. The map does come up now for manually activated activities. Thanks for the feedback.
