Hard Fall triggered by watch tossed on the bed

I took my watch off the charger and immediately tossed it on my bed. Even though it had not been on my wrist after charging, it still triggered a hard fall.

Really, you tossed your watch on the bed and didn't expect the accelerometer to detect a fall? Why are you tossing your watch anyway? Why not just remove it from the charger and place it on your desk/or nightstand - whatever you have your charger on.
