I got the watch yesterday. Today I get no message or Gmail notifications on the watch. Made sure apps are not blocked on phone (A54) and watch. Do not disturb is off. All other settings seem correct. Selected show notifications on phone and watch. Nothing comes to watch
I wasn't getting notifications either when I got my Watch 8. But I am now. Go to Wearable App >notifications >tap App Notifications (at the top)>make sure all the apps you want notifications from are toggled on. Mine weren't for some reason. Also, scroll down to the bottom of the above page I first mentioned> tap Help With Notifications. Both of these helped me.
