Galaxy watch 6 was working fine for 2 days... Then completely quit taking or making calls and texts.
AT&T support states the galaxy watch 6 no longer supports stand alone... As of August 16th.... 2023.
Can this possibly be true ?

It could be an issue with your carrier not linking them right

Well I just ran the diagnostics on my watch and everything checks out so I guess I'll spend the better part of the morning on the phone with T-Mobile

Yeah, when you call T-Mobile, don't talk to the CS reps, ask for the tech dept. Sound like they didn't pair your digits right. You definitely should be able to make snd receive calls away from your phone. You, can't however, call the watch number directly, if that's how you are testing it. Call someone and have them call you at your phone's number.

Have you bought or paid for carrier service for both devices?
To use lte, you need to pay monthly to get another number with service. Unless you want the same number in this case, keep your phone next to watch.
