Galaxy Watch Not Vibrating with Samsung Messages

Since last week or longer can't remember, my Galaxy Watch has stopped vibrating for incoming text messages when using the Samsung Messages app on my Galaxy Z Fold 5. All notification and vibration settings are correctly enabled on both the watch and phone. I have rebooted both watch and phone. I’ve also tested with a brand-new watch—same issue thinking my watch was brocken (wasted my money I guess). However, when I switch to Google Messages as the default SMS app, notifications and vibrations work perfectly. This suggests the problem lies with Samsung Messages and how it syncs with the watch. I like the layout and feel of Samsung Messages and hate the Google Messages. Anyone know what to do?? I also cleared catch and data on Samsung Messages still not working. Everything is up to date on both devices.

After a recent update, my watched stopped receiving text message notifications.  All other notifications are working.  No changes were made to the app notifications in the wearable app or on the watch.  Worked through all the troubleshooting online and nothing worked.  Reset watch, didn't work.

S22 ultra with GW5 and while I'm getting the notification red dot on the watch face, I am not getting sounds or vibrations. I have done a watch reset, wearables reinstall and checked every conceivable setting. They pushed a watch update a day or so ago but that didn't fix anything.

Afraid not, it's been a few weeks (ever since the last big ui roll out). Hope they can fix this as it's really the only reason I wear this watch.

Same here.  I get the dot, I can read the messages on my watch, but do not get the vibration or tone.  So frustrating!!

Same. It's driving me crazy. It's pretty much the only reason I wear it.

It will work with Google messaging app. They said use it til the roll out an update to fix it.

Same issue. Vibrate and beep work on EVERY OTHER NOTIFICATION (disconnect from phone, leaving a Samsung tag behind) I was going crazy trying to figure out if I broke it. Please fix this
