Galaxy Watch 8 Series feedback, order, trade-in thread

From someone who owns a Watch Ultra and a Watch 6 Classic, and loves the design of each in its own respect. If what I'm seeing around the the interwebs is true regarding the next Classic taking design cues form the Ultra I'm gonna ask right now for someone to please put a stop to the madness. My Ultra is my daily driver that I throw a case on if I'm going on a more grimy active mission. But the 6 Classic is my head turner when I'm suited up and want to keep that energy rocking down to my wrist. Silver Classic with a metal band, fugidaboudit. Round watches are still cool and Classic ain't Classic if it has a new school form factor. Give me a ROUND 8 Classic the way its supposed to look, and also a Watch Ultra2 with a rotating bezel. Boom! Everyone's happy.

STILL CANT PURCHASE THE WATCH ULTRA ...... WHY? Because I cancelled a order and it now says complete my pending trade ins (from the cancelled order) literally locked out from buying anything from samsung.

UPDATE: They fixed the false trade ins from cancelled orders and I got to order the Watch Ultra. PLUS they gave me a extra band and a airtag

I recently bought the Watch 7 and traded in my Watch 5 which was in New condition as I had a Watch 6 I used most of the time. I went through all the steps as required for the trade in. Today I got an email stating I would be charged for the trade in value of $50 because...

Your trade in device is not able to pass the data wipe test.

What does that even mean?

To me, it's just a way for Samsung to get out of paying for trade ins. I clicked on the RETURN MY TRADE-IN button because I'm not gonna let Samsung keep it to refurbish it and sell it for a couple hundred and screw me out of an additional $50. 

I'll probably be changing my brand of choice from Samsung for my devices when I replace my phone and tablet next to iPhone and iPad and Apple watch, and I HATE Apple products.

Did you make sure you wiped the data on the watch? Ev n though it was barely used, you may have already set up that device.

This isn't my first rodeo with trade ins. Read my post, I went through all the steps, so YES, I reset the watch!

Doing research I found another person who had the same issue with the data wipe thing. However, if you had a video of you resetting the watch and stuff, the customer service should accept. Otherwise, if you don't, you will get charged. I do not know why Samsung does this. Also, make sure your watch still isn't connected to a Google account or Samsung account.

There are many issues with the third-party trade-in partners that Samsung uses. Search the community for "trade in" and see what pops up.

It's been like this for years. Not likely to change anytime soon.

I've also looked on Google and saw many negatives on Reddit about the trade in things.
