Galaxy WatchI just received my new Watch 8 Classic and tried to open Samsung Pay. When prompted to open Pay on my phone it says "Can't open Samsung Pay - Your watch may not be supported." I can only send an error report or close the app.
I have redownloaded Samsung Pay from the Play store and reset and re-paired my watch to my phone. What am I missing?
I am using a Pixel 8 with the latest software
Watch 8 Classic with latest software
Galaxy Wearable App is up to date
Watch 8 plug-in is up to date
Samsung Pay is up to date

Galaxy WatchThe cards get added to the watch differently than in the past. They now all reside in the wallet app on the phone, and to get them on the watch you have to "import" them through the watch plug-in, not add them they way you used to. Why they disappeared is anyone's guess, it has happened sometimes in the past but I have not heard complaints of it happening recently. After like the third time that happened to me, I keep Google Wallet on the watch, so I can quickly switch apps if it happens again. Ironically, it has not happened since I activated Google Wallet on the watch. You might try adding cards to Google Wallet (which should already reside on your watch) and using it as your main or your backup app. I mapped the home button to double tap to use Google Wallet, but if you use a face with complications, you can add the wallet complication for easy access.
