Galaxy Watch 8 Band Too Short – No Help from Support

I purchased the Galaxy Watch 8, and the included band is far too short to fit my wrist—something that should have been accounted for in the design.

I contacted Samsung Support expecting a simple replacement, but I was told I’d need to pay for a longer band, even though this is clearly a sizing issue—not customer error.

I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of resolution, especially for a premium-priced watch. Samsung should provide customers with a properly fitting band, free of charge.

Please advise if anyone has received proper support for this. I hope Samsung reconsiders how it handles basic customer satisfaction.

if you need longer band you should order 44mm, it comes with M/L strap, if you order 40mm version then you will only get S/M Strap

the only solution right now you must buy another strap with M/L Strap, personally i wear M/L strap

also 44mm offers better battery life than 40mm version, that's why i highly recommend always get bigger size watch

I ordered a 44mm galaxy 8bt and got an s/m strap. I need a l/m size. It does not give you the option when you order to select the strap size. I've been on to Samsung and they are useless.

Either make it an option in the online shop or admit your mistake Samsung.

But you do have a option for small - medium or medium to large on the website and the shop app

I think the support in general is slow. I had to wait a long time for my assistance. Did you call? Calling samsung may help

@Mysticalm  Sorry to say but when you placed you order for the watch 8 you have to select s/m or m/l the 8 classic comes with a m/l band.  If you selected the wrong size band the only choice would be to either return the watch you ordered and re order with the correct band size selected or order the larger band size.

The frustration is understandable. Although, you ordered the 40mm version, which comes with the small band. That isn't Samsungs fault, so it wont be covered because you ordered that size willingly. If you read the measurements, you could've determined that you needed the M/L band instead. You can purchase one on the Samsung website or find one on Amazon.
