Galaxy Watch 7: no linear acceleration sensor??

I am the developer of an app that uses Sensor.TYPE_LINEAR_ACCELERATION to measure the linear acceleration of the device (i.e., without gravity). It works fine on Galaxy Watch 5 and 6... but Galaxy Watch 7 gives nonsense values:

6.6893997 7.055712 7.599196
6.706159 7.065289 7.577648
6.679823 7.0461354 7.6135616
6.6989765 7.050924 7.565677
6.730101 7.0485296 7.5824366

(watch is on the table, should be values close to 0 on all three axes).

What is happening? Is Sensor.TYPE_LINEAR_ACCELERATION not supported on Galaxy Watch 7???

Edit: BTW, when I restart my app the values change completely. Watch is at rest on the same position on the table, I restarted my app and now I get:

0.50038815 8.585608 15.02601
0.48602295 8.561666 14.939818
0.48841715 8.585608 14.982914
0.49320555 8.604761 15.028404

**bleep**!? These are the raw values obtained in onSensorChanged(event: SensorEvent).

BTW, if anyone can install Sensors Info (Wear OS) from the play store and please tell me your Raw Sensors Data -> Linear Acceleration -> Values I would be grateful. It should report values close to 0,0,0 with the watch not moving.

I am getting exactly the same issue. My sensor code works fine on load of Android Phones and the Watch 5 and 6 but the TYPE_LINEAR_ACCELERATION values returned by the Watch 7 a way too high when it is just sitting on the desk. Did you get any response from Samsung on this?
