Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra - GPS is still connecting

After the recent watch 8.0 UI update, my watch suddenly stopped being able to register my bike rides. It constantly prompts that "GPS is still connecting". Also for the running function, the pace given was extremely funky, based on my experience that pace was ~6mins/km, but I constantly see a 8-9mins/km which felt really weird. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Have you perform a wipe cache partition on the watch after the update. You might have incompatible algorithms running simultaneously that bis causes these problems.

If clearing the watch's cache partition doesn't help, the next step would be performing a factory reset. Make sure you have a backup of all your data; the process is fairly quick.
