Hi all, I just recently updated my watch 6 classic with the new update... im noticing that when I turn on my do not disturb icon on my watch it stays on for 5 seconds then turns back off . I've tried reboot and can only have this feature turned on by my phone. Is there a fix for this or is anyone having this same issue? Thanks

Unable to replicate. Just tested and it works fine for my GW7/S24+.

The vast majority of issues after an update can be corrected by clearing device cache via recovery mode.

Try clearing the watch cache as well.

If the issue persists, try un-pairing and re-pairing the watch.

Hope this helps!

Do you have do not disturb synced with the phone?  If it is, when you turn it on on one device it turns it on on the other.  Clear the watch cache and see if it fixes the issue.

I actually have this exact problem. I have cleared the cache on my watch and phone, reset the watch and restored it from a backup file, reset it and set it up as a brand new watch and it didn't fix it so it seems most likely that this is a firmware glitch for specific models and Samsung needs to fix on their end.

Then you have to put in an error report or it won't be addressed at all.

Ever since my phone updated to One UI8 I can't turn on the Do Not Disturb from my watch and it stay on. My watch (Galaxy Watch 7) is synced with my phone and was working properly before the update; nothing changed except for the software. I can turn it on on my phone and it will show on my watch and stay on, but if I turn if on with my watch it will stay on for about 10 seconds and turn off by itself. Anyone else have this issue or suggestions? Thanks.

Make sure your watch is up to date. You may also try clearing the watch cache as well.

Just cleared the cache partition on both my phone and watch and it's still doing it. If I go to the do not disturb in the watch settings on the watch itself and toggle the slider it stays on as well as turning it on on my phone. It's not working when I use the quick panel button (swiping down from the top); when I tap the button it stays on for about 10-15 seconds and then turns off. Any other ideas other than completely resetting my watch and setting it you again? Thanks.
