Galaxy WatchNeed to put an option allow user turn screen off when charging. During charging, a notification will turn screen on, then the charge time will increase from 100mins to like 300mins

Galaxy WatchI don't think I did anything wrong on asking a charging switch. Didn't know Samsung has discrimination on other android brand phones by disable "Modes" menu.

Galaxy WatchThe reason there is no option to turn off the the screen for charging, is because it is already off and notifications should not be coming to the watch when off your wrist. So, I wouldn't be holding my breath for it to happen. Your only options right now are to turn off screen wakeup for notifications before you put it on the charger. Or just let go throgh the charge cycle without watching it. Or, turn the watch off to charge, as many people do.

Galaxy WatchI don't believe this is not a discrimination since both are Android phone.
Maybe it's my mistake that I bought a ultra watch, Samsung need to put a warning on this. I believe EU will force it if they know in the future

Galaxy WatchOh, dear. I'm afraid you don't understand. Just because both phones are Android devices does not mean they are the same. Samsung has created OneUI for the very purpose of having exclusive apps and customization options. Bixby is part of OneUI and, therefore, so are the routines. If you want routines or Bixby, you MUST have a Samsung phone. If you want to use certain features of the health app or certain health features of the watch (Sleep Apnea, ECG), you MUST have a Samsung phone. Each manufacturer of an Android based phone may make their own customization or exclusive apps. It is not discrimination, and if you think it is, you do not truly know the meaning of discrimination. If all Android phones were created equal, there would be no need or reason to choose one brand over another. One chooses a brand for the FEATURES. You CHOSE to have a Galaxy watch with a non-Samsung Phone. There are other smart watches out there, maybe even one more compatible with your phone.
Samsung does not need to put a warning on this, as it is common knowledge, for anyone who cares to research specs, that only certain features will work between Samsung and non-Samsung devices. And, FYI, to my knowledge, Samsung does say that not all features work with non-Samsung devices.

Galaxy WatchI have no idea what charging brick you are using to charge your Ultra watch, my Ultra watch does not take 100m to charge.
Please don't use the term discrimination for lack of compatibility of certain features. It's no different than a Pixel watch paired to a Samsung phone not having the same feature set. It's called BUSINESS.

It's OK. We have different options on this. BTW I'm using 25W Apple Adapter to charge Ultra, it does last 100mins, maybe it's another discrimination or "lake of compatibility" lol.

Galaxy WatchYou can't have an *opinion* about what discrimination means. It has a standard definition, and having a product/app/service being exclusive to a particular device/brand is not it.
