I have a Watch 6 a pretty major feature and operations has been removed since the latest update. I have reached out to CS 3x and they don't seem to understand the issue. Yes I have done 2 full factory resets and tried everything from a different watch face to different workout, and changing the settings to leave display on during workout also does nothing to help this issue. Also this same issue is happening to others with Galaxy Watches since the latest update.

Issue: now when doing a workout. Let's say running but it can be anything. After about 2min the display resets to the watch face. Now this at times happened before if I pressed something but on the bottom of the watch face was a bouncing sneaker the you can press and it goes back to the workout info.

So now you have to stop and press several things. This is hard when running or doing any workout. This makes the watch pretty useless for tracking workout progress.

So it should be changed back to staying on the workout page and also putting back the quick option to jump there

Agreed! I have the Watch5 and am hating this new feature! I already have low motivation to work out and seeing where my heart rate/calories burned are at is a huge motivator for me. But taking extra time to try and find it to look at it is frustrating and makes me want ro workout less!

Will this be fixed? U have a new Watch 6 Classic and it is extremely difficult to get back to my current exercise when I am in the middle of a run. When I have ended my run, I have to tap and swipe 7 different things to be able to get back to the exercise screen to be able to tell my watch I have ended my exercise.

Quick update: You need to enable notifications for the Samsung exercise app to get the running icon on your home screen back.

Settings >> Apps >> App List >> Samsung Health app >> Permissions >> Notifications:Allowed

I agree with the above. After updates see exercise details is very cumbersome after the update. It is hard to know whether it is a new "feature" or something needs to be ticked or unticked. The health app is ticked to show when exercising!

Samsung please help!

Has anyone found a solution for this? I have recently bought an Ultra, but I'm considering getting rid of it due to this. I want to quickly see my heart rate, distance, etc. during a run, and not have to swipe multiple times just to get to it.

Update: I believe I've just fixed it by resetting the watch first. Then I went into the watch settings (on the watch, not the phone app) and go to notifications -> App notifications -> Samsung Health -> allow notifications. I previously did this but had not reset first and was adjusting settings from the phone app and it was still not working. I don't know which step fixed things, but it's worth trying if you're running into this problem.
