Samsung Compass app on the Galaxy watches is quite good with a full suite of information, such as altitude, air pressure, lattitude and longitude.
It would be super cool and actually a safety feature if the app could send your location to a designated person in the event of an emergency. Thinking about LTE enabled watches where the user doesn't have their phone with them. Could work with Google Messages to send the location as a text message.

Are there any other apps for the watch that can send location?
The watches already have an SOS feature - it's under Safety & Emergency/emergency SOS - when enabled, you press the home button 5 times and it will send your location to 911 and your emergency contacts (as long as you designate emergency contacts in your contacts app.)
Thanks. Totally forgot about that. Good for emergencies. Maybe there could be a feature to send location for non emergencies too? Like with Google Maps for the watch.
