Greetings,

BT range is so limited that at home that my watch is constantly losing connection.  Eventually it will switch to wifi, but that seems to take minutes.  Of course if I wander back in BT range, it goes back to BT and the process starts all over.  I know that I could just turn off BT at home, but then I'd have to turn it back on when I leave my wifi.  Is there any way to make wifi the preferred connection, then let it go to BT when out of wifi?  I haven't found any way to do that.

Thanks,

Rusty

You could create a routine to automate your Bluetooth going off when you are home and turning back on when you leave your house. Just open Settings>Modes and Routines, select Routines at the bottom of the screen, then select + at the top of the screen to create a new routine. Select IF>Place and choose Home. Then select Then>Connections>Bluetooth>Off. Set When routine ends to Return to status before routine ran so that your Bluetooth will automatically come back on when you leave home.

I've never heard of Routines, so I'll have to look into that.  Of course "Home" location is somewhat elusive it seems.  The phone is supposed to stay unlocked if it's home, but that never works.  GPS is just too weak inside to generate an accurate location all the time.

Modes and Routines on Samsung Galaxy devices is such an innovative feature, allowing users to create and modify automations to their heart's content. Way above the capability of your typical iPhone user.
