Black border just appeared on the face of my Galaxy Watch 5 all around the watch face. I've had the watch for a couple of years and the watch face has always covered the entire face of the watch. The watch face is more difficult to read with the black band all around the edge of the watch face. Can anyone help this 0happened after I downloaded a new watch face at the play store but now no matter what face I use, I cannot get rid of the black border.
The Galaxy watches always had a black frame (bezel) around the circumference of the watch face. Perhaps you never noticed because you used a black watch face and your new face is lighter?

Perhaps on the watch 5. The 2, 4 & 7 have the border. It is easy not to see it because it is designed not to be seen. I never had the watch 5, but I have the others listed. I would think the only ones that went edge to edge were the watches with the rotatable bezel, as the bezel would most likely cover the area where the border is.
