Galaxy S25have you noticed they changed the widget for contacts where you can't just add one as a message or direct dial.. they changed it.. it's stupid! I was able to create a folder on the 24 and put contacts that I call /message frequently in that folder because you were able to add one contact at a time and make your own.. not anymore! sometimes I feel like these upgrades are more like downgrades!

Galaxy S25I did not think those were removed. To set a direct dial, select the contact to expand the info on it, and then click on the small "i" icon. Then on the bottom right, click on the vertical ellipsis, then choose "Add contact to Home screen" and then set it as direct dial. It can also be a message shortcut using that same path, but the contact will already have a message contact choice when clicking on it.

Galaxy S25@porladie Even in the 6.1 I do not remember that. It has been either or, but not both at the same time. It would be a good feature to have though. Perhaps in the next monthly update this will be added.

Galaxy S25Thanks Tom, that worked. I opened the contact through the Contacts app, and at the bottom there are 3 dots that say "More." Opened that and it gave option Add contact to Home Screen, and I chose View Contact Info. This used to be an option through the Widgets, but no longer - the only option in Widgets is direct dial. Sometimes I want to message someone, not call them, so this allows you to do either.
