the screen failed on my s25 after what I view as premature. About 1.5 years I think.
the screen began flickering heavily and sometimes to the point the phone was useless.
I forked out $250 for insurance replacement.
I use my s25 as a cyclometer and use an out front quadlock mount and case. My screen protector was the one provided and installed by my local AT&T store.
During some of flickering flare ups I noticed unusual coloring across the bottom of the screen.
I sweat a lot when I ride. Could the perspiration splashing on the screen and collecting at the bottom of the screen been the culprit? I know the s25 has a level of water resistance and I am sure many of these phones get a lot wetter than mine on a 30 mile bike ride, but seeing that discoloration made me wonder.

Just my 2 cent too answer your sweat question there are different levels of sweat and duration of the ride could seep in i would think

@user30kHuL4eFg S25s were introduced in January 2025. If you had the phone for 1.5 years, it is mostly like an S24.

@user30kHuL4eFg You will need to reach out to Samsung support. The vibration may have contributed to the failure.

For immediate assistance, one option is to use the Samsung Members app -> Support -> Send text. This will open up live troubleshooting.

Another option is to contact Samsung support via https://www.samsung.com/us/support/contact/

I have heard cycling mounts contributing to camera failures on some phones. guess I could see it messing up the screen...my phones main function when riding is hosting the radar app that monitors overtaking traffic via. my taillight.

Water protection is for "freshwater" and whether you thought of it or not but sweat is salt water! So yes, I believe your sweating regularly on the screen could in fact contribute to its premature failure. Constant vibrations do not help. YMMV
