Galaxy S25It is not a resolution issue from either the device nor from YouTube. The S25U at its highest resolution is 3120x1440 because the aspect ratio by screen size is physical (19.5:9). But watching a 4K video, the device will scale it down to using a 4K like resolution in the end. It would be different if the ratio was 3840x2160 pixels (16:9) of which are typically used for TV and monitors. But I don't know of any smartphone that has an actual physical 4K resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Try not to look at it as not getting actual physical 4K videos, rather 4K modified down to fit on a 1440p vertical/height as opposed to a 2160 one.
