Why is it that the meta services and apps are installed as system apps for a company that is just plain and simple  Not only the apps are installed as system apps but they also use background data by default even if you don't use any meta services and their apps. Please stop including those intrusive apps in our phone which we pay money to own. I could careless for meta and their mining services which have also proven to be insecure. I thought Samsung was all about security and privacy.

I only buy unlocked devices directly from Samsung. The issue is that Samsung gets money from baking these apps into the system. As many users here have pointed out, you can't really uninstall them even with ADB (it will just not be visible to the user, but it is still in the memory). The fact that even if you are not actively using the app, the services are even auto-updating without user permission. As one user here noted, that can give way to a backdoor exploit. I mean, Samsung, as big as it is, is still using other companies for extra profit. On behalf of users data sold to a third party.
