Unable to freestyle draw in gallery

Hi all

When using the gallery I use to be able to freestyle draw with the pen and highlighter. Then my phone updates and I can only do straight lines. This makes it hard to highlight specific things that are not straight. Does not matter if I use the pen or a finger.

Any clues would be fantastic

Under the first selection "Basic pen", look for the star shaped one at the end. I think that will achieve what you're looking to do.

@Dizzy-Lizzy Make sure that you aren't pausing with pen down when you draw. If you pause for a few seconds, the phone will straighten the line or shape.

Not pausing and do not have a star pen at all. All i have is pen and highlight (straight), mosiac and an eraser.

No matter what i do I can not find the options

@Dizzy-Lizzy Not sure what options you are looking for.

If you click the Pen icon, you will see a pop up which will let you select a different pen, color, thickness, or transparency. 

There are no options to force all drawing to be straight lines.

Touch the pen icon to get another pop-up as shown in @VerbumVeritum example. That is also used to adjust line thickness, colors, etc. This screenshot does not show that pop-up. Once getting that pop-up, the wand with the star on top should show. Then click on that and the star wand will show in place of the pen icon as well.
