Time to leave, based on traffic in Maps

In the demo of AI during Unpacked, they showed the Now bar giving notifications that it was time to leave for an appointment, based on traffic information from Google Maps.

I can't find any mention of this in the settings for the Now bar, the AI features or anywhere. Indeed, even the settings for transport in the Google app just brings up a blank page.

How do you set up this feature?

I get the time to leave notification if I put a location into my calendar entry. I don't know how it works with the now bar.

Odd, because I'm putting locations in my appointments too and just get the standard notification 30 mins before the appointment. There isn't even an option for time to leave.

Well, perhaps it's because I use Google Calendar?  Perhaps that item on the Now Bar is informed by the calendar, and there is no need to set it, or perhaps you have to add the calendar to the Now Bar?  I don't know, since I do not have the new OS yet and I do not have the new phone, therefore, I do not have the Now Bar.

I'm trying to find any mention of this online and I'm struggling, it was one of the things I was most looking forward too because I thought it was really cool.

It's my understanding that certain things on the now bar do not show unless ther is something happening now (hence the name). Perhaps if there are no calendar events or you don't have the calendar as one of the now bar items, it won't show? Can you locate the video to see if there is a clue to what setting it needs?

Here's a link to a short YouTube video from Samsung official YouTube showing off the feature for a quick moment https://youtu.be/kOcEK5TGXV8?si=WYobiwJ__MaFDjbo

https://youtu.be/vjsw6UvGWXw?si=B5JwOmnQPLrqpBsr this video seams to suggest it's a galaxy ai feature, not sure how to use it. Maybe it's apart of the morning briefs somehow?

Ah the fine print seems to suggest you need to have

1. Location data in your samsung calendar (Google calender for me carries all this info over to samsung calendar
2. Have connected to a "car kit" in the last week
3. Have location services on etc
4. Trip must be over 3km

I could swear at some point there was a setting I turned on for it, but it seems to be gone now. I know I have it because I stopped putting the location in appointments because the reminders were annoying me, since where I live is basically 20 minutes from anywhere I go locally, and everything is a straight line. I only put the location in the first time I'm going somewhere. My next first appointment is Monday, so I'll see if it turns up. I have my Google and Samsung calendars linked because only Samsung calendar has a watch tile, but I only use Google calendar.
