You're accidentally pressing the microphone icon on the bottom left. Samsung keyboard is asking for microphone access to use voice input. You wouldn't be seeing this prompt otherwise.

You can disable this. Tap the gear icon to go into keyboard settings. If you dont see the gear, you may have to tap the 3 dots on the right side of your keyboard toolbar to see all options. From there, scroll down to Voice Input and Select "none."

If you are still bothered by the input method button, you can disable that as well.1764757360563.jpg1764757444588.jpg1764757523427.jpg

What kind of AI slop?  I understand you can turn off any AI features you don't want to use.  If you are getting requests for permissions, it's because the app you are trying to use requires those permissions, and you either denied those permissions originally, or it's the first time you are using an app.  If you don't use, or don't intend to use, voice input/text to speech, disable it as @CEParsons showed you.

Anyone who bought an S series phone would have/should have known that they were getting AI features with the phone.  If you didn't want those features, you should have bought an A series or another brand, although I believe all brands are including AI now on their higher end phones.  A little pre-purchase research goes a long way in consumer satisfaction.

They also considered buying a Pixel which is all about AI.

Rooting isn't as easy as it used to be. Especially with the change to AOSP recently.
