It has been like that since the release of the S25, regardless of how many updates. Some have reported it works while other are saying it is still broken (like always saying morning brief at all times of the day without any information other than seeing the Now Bar). Even in the beta forums (UI 8.0 beta) people are still posting about those issues. Tbh, I think this one of the biggest failures of a feature by Samsung not just because it seems to be broken for many users, but that this has been going on now into the sixth month of the S25 being in use.
It would not be a misguided thought for anyone to consider the One UI 7.0 being an unfinished UI still in beta. (caveat, I do not use it as it does not do anything I cannot do faster myself). Anyway, try clearing your cache partition and then give it a few days. Power down your device. Then press and hold down both the power (side) and up volume buttons at the same time, until you see the recovery screen. Once there, using the volume button, move the highlight over "Wipe cache partition", click the power (side) button, then use the volume button to choose "Yes", click the power button. It will then default the highlight to "Reboot system now" and click the power button to restart the device normally.
Thank you for the detail! I just wasnt sure if anything was fixed or not like you stated its been like this for months. Unfortunately the Ui is unfinished and Samsung needs a lot help in this area. It's been behind for a while now.
