I just got my navy blue S25 a week ago, and I got the Spigen clear Magfit case on Wednesday. I hadn't dropped it or even hit the phone at all till I got the case, and even after that I didn't. When I originally put the case on, I thought, "Wow, this thing is kinda uncomfortably tight, I don't want it to mess up my phone!" I didn't think much about it until today. I took off the case, and come to find out, the paint is chipped in multiple spots on the side rails! I entered the new galaxy club when I ordered the phone, which included Care+. What does everyone think I should do here?
I recommend contacting Spigen, as it was there case responsible for causing the damage. I suggest obtaining a different case and for the repair, as I am uncertain whether Care+ would cover cosmetic damage with the paint. However, you could contact the Care department to inquire about their specific policy.

Phones are painted? I thought the color was molded into the plastic. Or is the S25 metal? I would also imagine any paint job would be durable enough to last with or without a case, so I would consider it a manufacturer's defect.

The S25 had anodized aluminum on the side rails, which are color matched to the back glass. Its supposed to be pretty durable, but the case edges were kind of sharp, and im guessing it gouged the sides either by me taking off the case or putting it on.
