Side button or rocker

My S25 Ultra arrived today, and I'm encountering an issue with the left-side button. Sliding my finger across it produces no response. Is there a required setting I need to activate?

That's not a button, its the 5G antenna cutout.

I was wondering the same thing because my clear case covers the button looking area on the left side of the new Galaxy 25 ultra.  Thank you for answering.

Thanks for the info just got mine today and was trying all different things to get that slider to work 🙃
