Here is an article that provides troubleshooting for charging concerns: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/my-device-is-charging-slowly-not-switching-on-or-k...

We have a solution thread for battery drain here: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-S25/Battery-Draining-on-S25-Ultra/m-p/3225903#M21929

We also recommend running the Diagnostics and Submitting Feedback under the Support Tab in the Members App.

Galaxy phones have an adaptive battery feature that uses machine learning to optimize battery consumption based on your usage.

After a major software update, this feature resets and needs to relearn your usage patterns. You may notice diminished battery life for a week or so while this process takes place.

Yeah ive got adaptive battery turned on. I believe my battery is done optimizing? I got this phone on sunday morning and everyday it said learning battery usage up until this morning. Now it tells me how much time my battery has left but i still dont see much of a difference on how long it last

Adaptive battery continuously learns and optimizes, even after the initial "learning" phase is completed. Sun - Thurs is not really a substantial amount of time for your device to develop and analyze a data set of your usage patterns (especislly considering the first few days of setup are exceptionally resource/battery intensive.) Over time, you will notice your device doing things like putting certain apps into deep sleep to conserve battery.

Have you followed the best practices after an update guide? Clearing device cache via recovery mode in particular.

You can also download Good Guardians to re-optimize your apps via app booster (something you should definitely do after a major update). Battery Guardian also offers several options to extend your device's battery.

Hope this helps!

Thank you ill be trying these out right now. I also have a question about lagging/micro stuttering during youtube or netflix almost any social media app

It seems like a "frame drop" any idea what that could be?

May or may not be an app optimization issue. Re-optimizing via App Booster may help, but I can't say for sure. Could also have to do with the adaptive refresh, dynamic switching.

Can't say I have experienced what you're describing

You can also check your battery usage to see if any apps are draining your battery excessively.

My battery has taken a nosedive since I upgraded to One UI 8 on my S25 Ultra. Is anyone else having this problem?
