I am seeking immediate guidance on how to disable and remove the call recording feature and its associated icon from the call screen on my Samsung S25+. Despite claims that the Auto Record function can be turned off, the app provides no such option. I visited a Corporate Provider store for assistance, but they were unable to remove the feature.
Please note that in my state, recording phone calls without the other party’s verbal and/or written consent is illegal. The lack of a clear opt-out mechanism for this feature raises serious legal and privacy concerns. If a solution is not provided promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter to my state’s Attorney General for further action.

So, no one in Rhode Island can call customer service for any company? All customer service calls are recorded. What is the penalty? Is it civil or criminal? What is the exact wording of the law? My bet it says you cannot record without the consent of all parties. Staying on the line once informed, btw, is considered consent. If you consent to being recorded, then the other party can be considered to have consented to being recorded by you.

This should be made an option not forced upon samsung users. I have been using samsung phones since the very first Galaxy (the Captivate). This call recording feature is beyond annoying in fact its embarrassing. I have always been loyal to samsung as they make great products. But if this is not changed soon I will be switching to another manufacturer. This is a very unreasonable feature to have forced upon us. I hit it a lot while talking on the phone, it ridiculous that Samsung provides the answer to use another dialer this is not an acceptable solution. If not reminded Samsung is about to lose a lot of loyal long term customers and should be ashamed of the response of "download Google dialer". What a cop out of an answer fix your software or you will regret it by losing all of your customers to a different manufacture. I have read hundreds of complaints about this. Samsung you should be ashamed of your poor customer support!!!!!!
It is an option. You have the option to tap the record icon and record your call or not.
