Samsung needs to respect privacy and Disable and Remove Call Recording on Phone App!

I am seeking immediate guidance on how to disable and remove the call recording feature and its associated icon from the call screen on my Samsung S25+. Despite claims that the Auto Record function can be turned off, the app provides no such option. I visited a Corporate Provider store for assistance, but they were unable to remove the feature.

Please note that in my state, recording phone calls without the other party’s verbal and/or written consent is illegal. The lack of a clear opt-out mechanism for this feature raises serious legal and privacy concerns. If a solution is not provided promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter to my state’s Attorney General for further action.

I'm sorry, there is no way to remove it.

My recommendation to those that have a problem with this handy feature is to download Phone By Google from the Playstore and make that your default dialer.

I have not once since owning my S25U accidentally activated the call record button.

Only when I have to, like when out in public and don't have buds in. Do people these days think buds are only for music?

When out, I almost always have buds in my ears. Unless in the company of others. It seems the people that have this problem are those that have the phone pressed against their faces with the phone on their shoulder because their hands are full.

I don't usually get or make enough phone calls or listen to media to justify wearing ear buds all the time when out. Most of the time, if I am out, I just let the call go to voicemail and call whoever back. If I'm out, I'm in a noisy place anyway. No one needs to know how much time I spend in the casino 😄

Yeah, I also figured it was the shoulder holders, as normal phone position will not trigger accidental button presses .

If you read what I wrote properly, you will have realized I was talking about those who complain about invasion of privacy not my invasion of privacy.
