Just woke up to 2 notifications that I've been added to 2 group chats and its clear my phone is the one that started them bc no ones texted in them and the group chats(me + 2 other contacts) are of my contacts that wouldn't be in a group chat together (ex: me/my boss/ex-coworker, me/my boss/my friend )lol. This happened once like a week ago and I just thought it was a random thing but now I need to know how to stop it bc this is annoying. Google says to turn off group messaging but I still use multiple group chats I just dont want auto ones being made

Just delete and block, they do that to see which number is active so they can spam you

If you know the people remove yourself from the chats. They are not random if you know them. If it's your boss, and this is their channel to communicate with the workforce, you have to deal with it. If you are using Google messages, you can go into the chat and assign it a silent notification tone. If you are not using Google messages, you can make a routine to silence the notifications from that particular chat.  You can use a routine with Google Messages, as well.
