Hello,

Recently got the samsung s25 ultra. I love using samsung messages over Google messages. Unfortunately it keeps saying registration failed and rcs is not working. I tried changed my APN and clear cache the app but none of those worked. Is there any other ways that others did that worked for them to get rcs working? Thanks!

You do realize that by owning a Samsung phone, Google is already embedded in your life. They own the OS that is running your phone. You need a Google account and email to be able to use the Playstore and download apps.

Might I suggest you get an Iphone if you don't want to have anything to do with Google.

This will keep your paranoia in check.

As long as they don't install any Google apps on the fruit phone

What!! There are severe things you can switcjboff, but as far as taking over a phone, no.

Most carriers are transitioning to Google's version of RCS because it runs through Google's servers, tends to be more compatible with iOS, and doesn't require the carrier to build and maintain their own RCS infrastructure.

Unfortunately, you will likely need to transition to google messages to retain RCS Chat features going forward.
