(The next picture will be the communication between me and the seller on EBay)

This communication is just now 12/24/2025. As you can see, the seller ebay cant help me anymore because there's someone already registered on my phone (he bought the phone directly on samsung). Yes, I got this sealed and brandnew, when Im setting it up, its just normal set up as the other samsung phone I had before. Yes, I did put my samsung account here, does that include that im the new owner? But if it was me, then how would i filed a claim as the seller on Ebay talking about? I DONT EVEN talk to a samsung, and they won't even ship item here in Guam, USA using my PO BOX, thats why I use Ebay.

I tried to talk to a Samsung Service (the online one) I dont have any screenshot but basically they cant help me because Im not the registered name in this phone S25 ULTRA. Btw, I got this S25 Ultra for $1400 on Ebay on February 2025. Just 10 months ago..

If anyone can advise me on this or help me, I would appreciate it. I had all my picture here on my brother ๐Ÿ‘ผ and all my research paper files saved on this device, I can't afford to reset this or just lose it like this by not being able to open this phone. Please Im desperate, I dont know what to do now. The seller on Ebay can't help me anymore, the Ebay customer service wont also help me because of the timeframe, and the Samsung customer service ignores me as Im not the person registered in this phone to there system. Anything helps ๐Ÿ˜ข is this how I will be on Christmas ๐Ÿ˜ข I dont deserve this

If it was part of a trade-in or insurance replacement and was supposed to be sent in but wasn't, I don't know if anything can be done since the original owner got a discount for the purchase of a different device.

I don't trust eBay for purchasing phones since the seller could report the device as lost or stolen or anything and have a replacement sent to them with insurance. Then the old device gets locked, and they have a phone they can still use. And when asked, they can say they didn't do it.

Don't know when the original owner reported it and got a replacement device sent to them. And don't know what the process is and how long it takes to lock them.

That may have happened, but it's long gone 10 months since I bought this on Ebay and I can't get any further help at this point. Thank you for responding.

Servify, the entity that locked the phone could straighten this all out, but they won't . They can remotely get into the phone and get all the GPS logs off the phone to determine where it has been used for the last 10 months and compare that to where the claim was originated and where the replacement device was sent. We know that will never happen.

I agree with @Robin621k here, something is fishy about this whether it's a trade-in, part of a promotion, part of an upgrade whatever you want to call it type deal where they needed to send in the core as per agreement on getting a new phone or equivalent, 10 months is a absolute ridiculous amount of time to wait for something to then get blacklisted by Samsung. I have never seen them take more than a week past their deadline date for trade in before the device is remotely killed I can't imagine any carrier upgrade would be any different they're not going to let someone rock out with a free phone on their dime for 10 months. Just to be clear@GaryB82, I'm not arguing with you or your perspective on this either I'm just saying I feel that Robin has a good point and just the 10 months by itself raises a number of red flags from the buyer or op's perspective.
How do we know there wasn't multiple attempts at contacting the op to resolve the situation before it got to this point? There's just too many variables involved in a case like this aside from it being not in the continental United States, but a US territory.
Sorry op, I would say your Sol on this one and don't ever use eBay to buy a phone that's a pretty well-known rule at this point assume everyone is a scammer until proven otherwise on eBay and if you really want to buy a second hand phone I personally would never consider any website except for a certified Samsung refurb or swappa. I have bought two phones from swappa many years ago but I know till this day they are the most secure and consumer friendly second hand phone dealer they are eBay specifically for phones basically and extra extra protection. Nobody in the situation is going to help you not Samsung not eBay and certainly not the seller that scammed you if that's even what happened. We are only getting one side of the story here and that's completely controlled by you not to say you're lying or anything of the sort, just you have to understand unless we got the other parties explanation, none of us can make a judgment and even if we could our judgment means nothing we are not any source of health in terms of you getting scammed that is entirely on you we are other Samsung users just like you sorry that that's not the news you wanted to hear.

Thank you so much, it feels much better knowing people still care about my situation. As you can see, that's all i have communication with the seller on Ebay ever since this phone got locked, not even a week have passed. I get your point that this is only my side im showing. But what could i do, I bought this in third party website eBay and that's much all I have prove to show plus all those communication between the ebay and seller.
